He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Shelton and Thursie Shelton; his brother Dennis; his brother-in-law Ferrell; and the mother of his child Tammy Marie Watts.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Matthew Shelton; his siblings, Pam, Zelda, Brenda, Wanda, Geraldine, Phillip and Leland; his mother-in-law Mary Louise Watts; and his brother-in-law Tim Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
