It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Messer of Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Messer and Pearl Messer; his parents-in-law, Delbert and Nancy Phillips; his siblings, Lucille, Mattie, Margaret, Pauline and Roy Messer; his sister-in-law Randie Messer; his niece Wanda; and his nephews, Michael Messer and Michael Green.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Robert and Thomas; his grandchild Cacie Thomas Messer Jr. (TJ); his great grandchildren, Rosie and Stevie Hayworth; his brothers, Loyd Messer and James Messer (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Messer, Pam Rypma (Brian), Debbie Sutton (Clayton) and Dennis Phillips (Beverly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greene Hills Baptist Church (145 Hillcrest St, Greeneville, TN 37743).
