She was predeceased by: her son Mark Shipley; her parents, Bill Peters and Mildred Peters; and her parents-in-law, Roy E. "Tom" and Edith Shipley.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny E. Shipley; her daughter Bobbie Jo; her son-in-law Stacy Lee; her grandsons, Caleb Lee, Cody Shipley (Kacie) and Seth Lee; her great grandchildren, Huxlei Shipley and Ezra Lee; her siblings, Kathy Shuffler and Richard Peters; her siblings-in-law, Rex, Debbie Shipley, Dicky and Kathy Shipley; and her close friends, Bill, Debbie Shope, Deanie, Phyllis Lampkin, Brenda Freshour, Gene, Flo Waddell, Jean Gibson, Rev. Rochelle Maxwell, Don and Brenda Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
