She was predeceased by: her husbands, William Russell McKay and Laster; her parents, William R. Brown and Letha Brown; her stepmother Ella Brown; her daughter Patricia Collins; and her sisters, Reba Cross and Stella Cogdill.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Matthew Thomas; her grandchildren, Matthew, Katie Collins, Beth Anne and Ryan Baskette; and her great grandchild Kit Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Union Temple Cemetery Fund 9680 Kingsport Hwy, Chuckey, TN 37641 Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.
