He is survived by: his sons, Robert Steven Banks and Avery Ellsworth Banks, Jr. (April Bishop); his grandchildren, Jordan Banks, Matthew Banks and Katie Donahue; his great grandchildren, Arthur Banks and Valerie Banks; and his close friend Lynn Banks.
