She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Griffin and Judy Ann Hunt; her sister Nicole Lee Griffin; and her father-in-law George Gillespie. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Gillespie; her children, Maria Moreno and Jayon Gillespie; her siblings, Belinda Hill, Lisa Harrison of August, GA, Yolanda Griffin of Robeson County, NC, Sonya Hunt of Robeson County, NC, Summer Hunt of Dillon, SC, Tonya Hunt of Dillon, SC, Lacora Hunt of Dillon, SC, Lamont Griffin of Robeson County, NC, Gil Hunt Jr. of Dillon, SC, Iverson Griffin of Columbus, GA and Robert Griffin Jr. of Florida; and her mother-in-law Rachel Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
