He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Floyd; his son J. T. Ayers; and his brother Russell Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ayers; his children, Michael Williams, Daniel Williams (Angela), Billy Williams and Angela Woodrum (Bob); and his sister Helon Owens. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
