We bid farewell to Theodore Collins Sr. of Greenbrier, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 99. Theodore touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Collins and Bertha Lee McDougal Collins; his wife Catherine Collins; his son Theodore "Ted" Collins, Jr.; his sisters, Juanita Adcock, Catherine Webb, Margaret Dunavin, Marie Paris and Evelyn Dorris; and his daughter-in-law Martha Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Collins, Wayne Collins (Betty), Linda Collins and Kathy Coleman (Johnny); his sister Barbara McLean; and his grandchildren, Lori Davis (Zayn Howse), Mia Orlando (Lawrence), Shannah Creel (Scott) and Cara Yates (David). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren: and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (2619 Hwy 41 S, Greenbrier, TN 37073). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
