She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Eugene Sikes and Eliza Frances Brooks Sikes; her husband Robert B. Salter, Sr.; her daughter Ann Spangler; and her siblings, Dorothy Ziegler, Gus and Harry Sikes.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Harris (Dan), Robert B. Salter, Jr. and Kelly Hughes (Mike). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
