It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Payne of Greenbrier, Tennessee, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Martha Payne; his parents, Edgar Payne and Ruth Payne; his siblings, Gladys, MaryEllen, Kenneth and Joe Payne; his daughter Linda Gail; and his grandchildren, Danielle Richardson and Brandon Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Paula Richardson, Michael Ray Payne, Terry Ronald Payne (Kim) and Sue Munson (Bill); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Richardson (Shannon), Curtis Richardson (Gabby), Michelle Hamilton, Preston Payne, Alicia Zimmerman (Torrey), Laura Thompson (Jody), Tammany Carter and Senthy Spears (Casey). He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
