He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Mayo and Inez Fields Mayo; and his wife Hazel Walden Mayo. He is survived by: his son Lynn; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Mayo of Greenbrier; his daughter Cheryl Mayo of Greenbrier; and his siblings, Barbara Hatfield of Corinth, MS, Dorris Wayne Mayo (Betty) of Hendersonville, Alice Binkley of Pleasant View, Raymond "Pete" Mayo of Greenbrier, Delana Cheatham of Clarksville and Doni E. Mayo of Dandridge, TN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
