She was predeceased by: her father Earl Nelson; her husband Douglas O'Neil Sloan Sr.; her son Victor Sloan; and her brother Joe Prentice. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Sloan Jr., Tim Sloan (Amy) and Donna Vance (Phil); her grandchildren, O'Neil Sloan (Tenisha), Jordan Sloan (Emily), Tori Sloan, Caleb Sloan, Hannah Strehlow (C. J.), Whitney Ortiz (Luis) and Stephanie Cabral (Gaston); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Sloan, Cairistine Sloan and Lumen Sloan; her sisters, Jeanette Hall and Marsha Crosslin (Tommy); and her sister-in-law Marie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
