He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilman Chester and Rachael Evelyn Smith Sloan; his son Jeff Sloan; and his grandson Steven Haley. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Palmore Sloan of Greenbrier; his children, Terry Hudson of Greenbrier, Wendy Maddle of Greenbrier, Lisa Sloan of Greenbrier and Gayle Haley (Steve) of Clarksville; and his siblings, Jerry Wayne Sloan of Springfield, Edna Cooksey of Springfield and Dorothy Woods of Springfield. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
