He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Curtis and Juanita Howell Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Diana Pyland Curtis of Greenbrier; his daughter Victoria Lynne Sloan of Greenbrier; his brother Mike Curtis (Mimi) of Mississippi; his brother-in-law Donald Wayne Pyland of Goodlettsville; his nephew John Douglas Curtis (Nichole) of Nashville; his aunt Era Mae Gregory (Thomas) of Gallatin; and his uncle Don Curtis (Alice) of Gallatin. He is also survived by numerous friends, cousins, and church friends.
