It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell of Greenbrier, Tennessee, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Andrew and Leona Mae Russell; and his siblings, Andrew Russell, Sonny Russell, Edward Russell, Johnny Russell, Ronald Russell, Dorothy Russell, Nell Russell, Katherine Russell and Betty Jo Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Russell; his children, Barry "Dwayne" Russell, David Ellis Dickerson, Daniel Joseph Dickerson and Becky "Deanna" Russell; and his brothers, Richard Russell and Larry Russell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
