It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Dunbar Jr. of Greenback, Tennessee, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Dunbar and Sarah Dunbar. He is survived by: his wife Jane Dunbar; his sons, Justin Dunbar (Lindsey Lonas) and Jace; his stepchildren, Jeff Dunbar of Maryville and Jennifer R. Smart; and his son-in-law Lance Smart of Riceville.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
