She was predeceased by: her husband Ellis Newman Evans, Jr.; her son Ronnie Evans; her daughter-in-law Ramona Evans; her grandson Travis McCollum; her parents, James Marion Carver and Emma Lou Hicks Carver; and her siblings, Elzie Carver, Emerson Carver of Bud Carver, R. D, Leecie Grisham and Betty Lou Blair.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Chad Evans, Darby Hammontree, Deriek Hammontree, Chris Garmon, Gabe Evans and Ryan Queen. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
