He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Stewart and Justine Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Leachman Stewart; his children, Deloria "Dee" Brown (Keith) and John Stewart (Liz); his grandchildren, Joy, Dorothy, Ruth, Gideon, Elsie, Craig, Nehemiah Brown, Kara and Thomas Stewart; and his siblings, Fred Stewart (Sue), Gary Stewart (Diane Shinn), Joe Stewart (Lisa Parris) and Trella Oyler (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Baptist Cemetery (4602 Salem Rd, Greenback, TN 37742).
