She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Nichols and Addie Harvey Nichols; her husband Jay Gibson; her children, Mary Hickman, Carl Allen Johnson and Charles Mack Johnson; and her siblings, Marie Sneed, Ruby Defore, Ina Guy, Pauline Weatherly, Fred Nichols, Iler Nichols and James Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Reba McGinnis of Dayton, Barbara Dotson (Terry) of Graysville, Donna Reed (Donald) of Dayton, Bobby Johnson (Diane) of Dayton and Jessie Gibson (Cindy) of Graysville, TN; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Johnson of Chicago. She is also survived by two grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
