He was predeceased by: his spouse Kay Ruth Smith; his father George D. Smith (Dorthy); and his siblings, George H. Smith, Hansel Smith, Bonnie McFarland, Joice Hood and Betty Jean Adcock.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Yeargan (Max) of Dunlap; his grandchildren, Victoria Faith and Kaden Ryan Yeargan; his siblings, Glenda "June" Bice, Pharon Spatafore (Daniel), Van Smith, Gary Smith (Lisa) and Ricky Smith; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Rhodes (Rowena).
