She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Massengill and Gertie Massengill (Shipley); her husband John Charles "J. C." Curvin; and her daughter Jackie Sue Keel. She is survived by: her children, Lewis White (Loren) of Graysville, John Hughes (Linda) of Cartersville, GA, Ruby Hobbs (Steve) of Seneca, SC and Mary Bolin (Michael) of Crossville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Rhea Memory Gardens (24. N 85°02'W, 3527 TN-29, Dayton, TN 37321).
