He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sammons and Ida Mae Campbell Sammons; his wife Janice Sammons; and his brothers, Donnie and Earl Sammons.
He is survived by: his son Alan Sammons (Renae); his granddaughter Brianna Bowling (Forrest); his great grandchild Blaine; his grandson Bryson Sammons (Kiana); his siblings, Velma Poore, Charles and Harold Sammons; and his close friend Matt Seavers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
