It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Scherer of Gray, Tennessee, born in Blountville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Snapp and Mary Gray Snapp; her husband Chester R. Scherer; and her brother Douglas M. Snapp. She is survived by: her daughter Robin Ramsey (Shawn); her siblings, Mary Ann Reese, Ethel Smawley, Cathy Hughes, Esther Toohey, Susan Snapp, Herbert "Jake" Snapp and Bill Snapp; and her grandsons, Jake "Bubba" and Mason "Tank" Ramsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made in Nancy's name to your local animal shelter or to the leukemia foundation; and of course cards are greatly appreciated.
