It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Brinkley Moore of Gray, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Carl" Moore; her parents, Dallas Brinkley and Pauline Harrell Brinkley; and her brother John Brinkley. She is survived by: her brother Bill Brinkley; her sisters-in-law, Shirlee Brinkley, Brenda Brinkley, Marge Moore, Lucy Moore and Nancy Brinkley; and her cousins, Mary Lee Smith and Joan Reichert. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or McKinnley Memorial Bible Church, Johnson City.
