He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Wilson and Pearl Hickman Wilson; his wife Sheila Wilson; his sisters, Shirley Carroll and Hazel Cross; and his brother-in-law Charles Carroll.

He is survived by: his sons, Lee Wilson (Jana), Tim Wilson (Kimberly) and Mike Wilson (Amy); his grandchildren, Cassie Sexton (Ben), Josh Wilson, Lydia Walker (Ryan), Thomas Wilson (Hannah), Caroline Wilson, Bailey Wilson and Jesse Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Ali and Madi Sexton.
