It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Hackney of Gray, Tennessee, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Zola Mae Eggers Hackney; his wife Sarah Marie Cox Hackney; and his brothers, Gene and Buddy Hackney.
He is survived by: his son David Hackney (Sarah Webb Hackney); and his grandsons, Connor and Caleb Hackney.
Those planning to attend are requested to meet under the portico of the mausoleum by 10:50 A.M. In-lieu-of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's name to The American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909.
