He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Mitchell and Lora Ellen Adams Mitchell; his wife Laura Alma Mitchell; and his great grandchild Bryson. He is survived by: his son Steven H. Mitchell; his grandson Clayton Mitchell; his stepgranddaughter Rebecca Whitaker; his great grandchildren, Cheyanna and Graycelyn Mitchell; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayley, Hannah, Beckka and Storm Mercer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
