Elijah Edward Heaton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elijah Edward Heaton of Gray, Tennessee, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Heaton and Hazel Heaton of Roan Mountain, TN.; his significant other Betty Ann McKinney Heaton; and his siblings, Frank, James, Harry, Annabelle, Corinth, Betty Sue, Eloise and Billy.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Heaton (Judy) of Concord, NC and Sherri Wilson (Ron) of Unicoi, TN; his grandchildren, Max Bacon (Ramona), Kelly Pogorelec (Jordan), Jon Heaton, Lauren Bacon and Austin Wilson; his great grandchildren, Mila, Jack and Ezlynn; and his brothers, Robert (Brickie) and Paul (Francis).
We would also like to thank all the caregivers in the COVID ward at The Johnson City Medical Center for their bravery and commitment while fighting this terrible pandemic.
