He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Theis and Elizabeth Theis. He is survived by: his wife Janet Idell Hudson; his children, Richard Theis, Mitzi Theis, Cathy Theis and Ronald Theis; his grandchildren, Clayton Carson, Caitlin Carson, Jonas Theis, Gareth Theis and Nicole Theis; and his sister Karen Bohrer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
