He is survived by: his children, Debbie Smith (Eugene) of Knoxville, TN and Gordon Cox (Linda) of Jonesborough, TN; his siblings, Eddie Cox (Charlene) of Batesville, Arkansas and Kay Cross (Ivan) of Gray, TN; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Cox of Batesville, Arkansas..

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
