He is survived by: his wife Thelma Petty; his son Paul Petty of Sykes; his stepchildren, Bessie Stephenson (Jessie) of Algood, Robert Flournoy (Valerie) of Sparta, Debra Moore (Stephen) of Granville, Rickey Flourney (Lynn) of Gainesboro, Ann Huepenbecker (Hoop) of Northville, Bobby Gene Brown (Gina) of Granville and Eddie Brown (Robin) of Lafayette; and his sisters, Charlene Petty Merritt of Hendersonville, Betty Petty Brock of Andalusia, Tennie Petty Webb of Willette and Susie Petty Lee of Romeoville. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
