He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Godsey and Ocie Mae Reed Godsey; his son Billy Doyle Godsey Sr.; and his siblings, Willie "Bud" Godsey, Willis Godsey, Ellis "Curley" Godsey, Bobby Godsey and Mildred Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Morris Godsey of Grandview; his daughter Vanessa McClung (David) of Grandview; his siblings, Kenneth of Dayton, Earnest Godsey of Dayton, Masel Reed of Spring City, Emma Lee Caruthers of Clarksville and Gladys Evans of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Billy Doyle Godsey Jr. (Brandi), David McClung Jr. (Grayson), Chasity Wright (Jay), Ashley Randolph (Randall) and Nichole McClung. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid19 concerns, attendees are requested to wear a mask to the services and visitation.
