He was predeceased by: his father Bob Hawkins; and his sister Betty Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Ann Reed Hawkins of Grandview, Tennessee; his mother Ailene Stroud Hawkins of Graysville, Tennessee; his son Matthew Hawkins (Heather) of Grandview, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Robyn and Hannah Hawkins; and his nephews, James Smith (Jennifer) and Mikey Garrison.
