He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Evans and Vina Ray Evans; his siblings, Ray, Robert, Harley Evans and Roxie Wolfe; and his grandson Mason Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha C. Evans of Spring City; his children, Lisa Guthrie (John) of Dayton, Edward Evans (Mary) of Loudon, TN, Billy Thedford (Amanda) of Spring City, Sherry Motes of Spring City and Julia Qualls of Spring City; and his siblings, J. D. Evans (Dianna) of Shelbyville, TN, Junior Cecil Evans of Spring City, Kenny Evans (Becky) of Grandview, Rosalee York (Rodney) of Lenior City, TN and Wilma Seals (George) of Spring City. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
