He is survived by: his wife Leila Simpson of Grandview, Tennessee; his daughter Robin Barcus of Grandview, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Allen Reed (Diane) of Carrolton, Rocky Reed (Kathy) of Temple, Shone Reed (Terry) of Dayton, Tennessee and Debbie Wagner (Dewayne) of Grandview, Tennessee; his sister Carolyn Phelps of Snellville, Georgia; his daughter-in-law Jackie Simpson of Anderson, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Simpson (Heather), Susan Barcus, Stacie Barcus and Holly Giles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
