She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore J. Merritt and Grace I. Willis Merritt; and her granddaughter Desiree Danielle Pyle. She is survived by: her husband William "Wild Bill" Reed of Grandview, Tennessee; her daughter Regina Lee Smith (James) of Knoxville, Tennessee; her sisters, Peggy Case of Chattanooga and Sue Merritt of Huntsville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jacob Daniels (Desiree), Jenna Ballard (Aaron) of Dayton and Jesse Pyle (Shae) of Grandview, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Brayden, Johnse and Beau; and her great great grandchild CiCi.
The lying in state was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pentecostal Worship Center (25000 Rhea County Hwy, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pentecostal Worship Center, 25000 Rhea County Hwy, Spring City, TN 37381, in her memory.
