She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Lloyd Petty; her sons, Albert (Cathy), Danny (Alix), Mark (Jamie) and Garland (Sally); and her parents, Herman Gibbs and Ruth McKinney Gibbs. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and two great grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lovie's Fund, a charitable fund from Smith County Animal Clinic used to treat strays and animals that would otherwise be euthanized.
