It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lutherene Shoemake Chaffin of Gordonsville, Tennessee, born in Carthage, Tennessee, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Shoemake and Vernie Lorene Bennett Shoemake; her spouse Carroll W. "Pete" Chaffin; her brother Wesley Shoemake; her siblings-in-law, Sue Bogle Shoemake and Glenn Murphy; her parents-in-law, Thurman Charlie Chaffin and Dorothy Smith Chaffin; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Chaffin and Brenda Scarlett.
She is survived by: her son Charlie Chaffin (Martha Williams) of Gordonsville, TN.. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
