He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Lancaster and Beulah Wester Lancaster; and his siblings, Carolyn Starks, Thelma Jarrett, Wilson Lancaster (Jean) and Wirtlee Lancaster (Iren).
He is survived by: his children, Marcus King, Chante Lancaster and Lisa McKinley (David); his wife Carolyn Lancaster; his sister Sue Carrick; and his close friends, Phillip, Rachel and Bryson Slagle.
The family requests memorials be made to Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
