He is survived by: his wife Linda Grisham; his children, Bill Nixon (Lorna) of Anchorage, AK, Barbara Bertrand (Joe) of Garland, TX, Mike Nixon (Juanita) of Olympia, WA, Wendy Stilwell of Gordonsville, TN, Jolene Ellis (Shayne) of Hartsville, TN and Dusti Shae Swindle of Gordonsville, TN.; his sister Freda Durham (Ann) of Lafayette, TN.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Bertrand, Jennifer Springfield (Tyler), Peter Barnhill (Angie), Cecelia Mikles (Chris), Amber Munier (Andrew), Nicole Nixon, Andrea Casebolt, Ethan Casebolt, Brock Ellis, Brooke Ellis and Levi Ellis.
