We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 81, Gary Bernard Schmitz of Goodspring, Tennessee, born in Adrian, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard E. Schmitz and Dorothy M. Schmitz. He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Schmitz Konczal and Kristina Schmitz Hasenkamp; and his nieces and nephews, Tonya Miller Hire (Dale), Lynn Nutting (Jeff), Scott Schwede (Nikki), Carl Schwede (Danae), Derick Mann (Jennifer) and Bryan Mann (Dawn).
Gary's request was instead of sending flowers he would like everyone to plant a tree in his memory or make a memorial contribution to your favorite charity.
