He is survived by: his wife Lavell Nave Norwood; his children, Farrell Norwood, Mark Norwood and Kerry White (Jack); his stepchildren, Mickey Shelton and Lorie Williams (David); and his sister Mary Edna Garrett. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Shores Memory Gardens Foster was preceded in death by, his parents, Bartow and Myrtle Norwood, 2 sisters, 6 brothers, and one grandson, David Shelton.
