She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde W. Hannah and Lillie Mae Thrasher Hannah; her husband N. C. Brown; her son Gay Brown; and her brother Daniel Hannah.

She is survived by: her children, Wayde Brown, Nina Birdsong of Goodspring and Stephanie Russ of Goodspring; and her sister Patricia Ann Brooks of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
