He is survived by: his stepfather Steve Shumate; his son Thomas Cody Mires; his grandson Bentley Mires; and his siblings, David Draper, Deborah Ayers (Edward), Ronna Hodge (William), Donnie Draper (Shannon), Timmy Mires (Dana), Arthur Cunningham and Shenah Mangrum (Doug). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
