William Alton Grubbs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Alton Grubbs of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Cobb and Daniel Grubbs; his wife Marjorie Grubbs; his siblings, Eugene Grubbs, Margie Lowe and Anita Reynolds; his children, Larry Hughes and Mildred Frizzle; and his grandson Greg Hughes.
He is survived by: his son Billy Hughes (Joanne); his grandchildren, Tanica Tilley (Scott), Rhonda Moore (Rascal) and Randy Hughes (Deisy); his daughter Sherry Hughes; his siblings, Brenda Parrish and Kenneth Grubbs; and his close friend Jim. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund for the future school at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church.
