He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Faye Birdwell; and his parents, Jewel Dean and Margret Birdwell. He is survived by: his son Dean; his daughter-in-law Kim Birdwell; his grandchildren, Marty, Antonia Birdwell, Megan and Jon Frazer; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Marlie, Karlie Birdwell and J. R. Frazer; and his siblings, Faye, Jay Ellis, Wayne and Betty Birdwell. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
