With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Louis Ayers (Goodlettsville, Tennessee), who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Louise Frances Adams Ayers; his former wife Mary Jane Pewitt Ayers; his daughters, Earline Woodard and Brenda DeVault; and his grandson Jeff Woodard.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ayers; and his children, Deborah Gore, Trent DeVault (Tracy), Timmy DeVault (Mary), Sherry DeVault, Terry Todd (Bobby) and Bryan DeVault (Jolene). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at either Goodlettsville U.P.C or Centerpointe Apostolic Church.

“I’m sorry to hear of Mr. Ayers passed away, I lived close to them on Spero Rd Goodlettsville, I considered Mr. Ayers and his wife Mary Jane friends. My condolences to their grandchildren Randy, wife and son Jason and Wendell and his wife, all of Goodlettsville,TN. I didn’t see their names in the Obituary, and of course his second wife and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I didn’t know any of them.”
