He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Russell, Jr. and Evelyn Tate Russell; and his siblings, Pat Russell and Jay Russell. He is survived by: his wife Patty Cherry Russell; his children, Jaime Lassiter (Brian) and Rusty Russell (Julie Kennedy); and his granddaughters, Clara Lassiter and Celia Lassiter.
