He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn (Shepherd); his parents, Vera Caroland (Bradley) and Thomas M Caroland Sr.; and his sisters, Ramona "Bruce" Stout and Marion Bellar.

He is survived by: his sons, Ross Caroland (Shelia) and Rex Caroland; his grandson Brian Caroland (Charlotte); and his great grandchild Margaret. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom Caroland's name to The Church at Grace Park, White House Tennessee.
