He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Ray Atkinson and Mary Sue Stephens Atkinson; and his brother William M. Atkinson (Billy). He is survived by: his siblings, Margie Atkinson Bundy (Donnie) and Tom Atkinson (Gay); his daughters, Jennifer Atkinson Hall (Steve), Stephanie Atkinson and Michelle Atkinson Wilson; and his grandchildren, Nick Rowell (Caitlin), Dalton Hall, Mckenzie Wilson Anozie (Uche), Darby Hall and Sidney Rowell.
